Tango Social Dance (Milonga)!

We host Argentine Tango Dance Parties (Milongas) twice a month on the 2nd & 4th Saturday of every month. These special events are a great introduction to the tango. From 8:00-9:00 p.m., there is a beginning lesson (it’s a one-time lesson, not part of any ongoing series) designed for those who are completely new to the tango. Following that, we host a dance from 9:00 p.m. until midnight. Cost is only $15 (sometimes $20-$25 when there is live music or a tango performance, etc.) and includes the lesson, the dance that follows, and all the appetizers and refreshments. Plus, if you purchase your tickets online, you get $5 off, so for only $10-$15 you get the lesson and the dance! It's the best deal in town!

It’s also a great introduction to the tango because you get a chance to learn a little tango, dance a little, and meet some of the people in Sacramento who are already dancing the tango--you get to talk to them over the punch bowl, maybe even dance with them. It's a chance to find out if the tango is for you without committing yourself to a monthlong series. They're also just plain fun!!!

Beginning lesson from 8:00-9:00 p.m. followed by a dance from 9:00-midnight. $20 per person for lesson & milonga; $15 for milonga only.
