If you're new to the tango, you'll want to start listening to and absorbing the phrasings and feelings of the music of tango. Yet it can be difficult to find good tango music in the United States. In fact, most of the tango muisc you can find here is ballroom or American tango. And ballroom or American tango music is neither what we play in our lessons nor our dances, nor what you will find in any authentic milonga (tango social dance) in the world.

You want to start getting a feel of the classic orchestras (as well as some of the newer music, the nuevo tango, coming out of Argentina recently).

We import our music directly from Buenos Aires, Argentina, and all of the CDs we have for sale here are excellent compilations of good tango music. Enjoy!
