My own tango experience has been over a 3 year period with over 35 instructors mostly in California (15 cities), but also in Buenos Aires and Copenhagen. I live in Santa Barbara.

Upon hearing of Oscar and Georgina by way of an email, I set about reading and reviewing their web site and made plans to travel six times this year (2009) to Sacramento (plus one trip to San Diego) to join in. I've purchased all four instructional DVDs (i.e., two re: technique and two re: rhythm and style) and am reviewing them over time.

What pleases me is their balanced tango: Both close embrace and open embrace, emphasis on technique and adornments, all three rhythms (i.e., 4/4 time tango, 3/4 time vals, and 2/4 time milonga), rhythmic and romantic tango, milonguero, porteno, and tanguero tango -- all with simplicity and elegance.

During their 6-month stay in the United States they will be traveling from coast to coast performing, teaching workshops and private lessons.
