Elegant dancers and teachers of Argentine Tango from Buenos Aires!
Tango by the River is, once again, privileged to host two of the most renowned and esteemed tango masters from Buenos Aires; they have been dancing together for over 16 years and in 1998 they won their first competition. They have performed as stars in many international tango shows including the renowned tango musical “Tanguera.” In Buenos Aires they have performed in the most famous shows including those at Señor Tango, Café Tortoni, Esquina Homero Manzi, Esquina Carlos Gardel and others.
On Broadway, they obtained an outstanding Personal Review from the New York Times: “No couple, however, was as beautifully lavish as Luciano Capparelli and Rocio de los Santos. In each of their tangos, tension gave way to voluptuous softness, and powerful overhead lifts melted onto the floor in silken extensions. As the title goes, they were on fire.” The New York Times, Nov. 2006.

7:45-8:45 pm -- "Tango: Playing with the free leg, finding the spaces, and creating spaces to apply it. Rulos & footwork." Cost for Saturday workshop is $20; milonga is $10.

1:00-2:15 pm -- "Tango: Giros, changing dynamic, turning with paradas and pasadas, different combinations focusing on technique." -- Cost for one Sunday workshop is $30; both Sunday workshops are $50.
