Una Noche de Pasion!
A Night of Passion!

Tango by the River is hosting a fantastically unique event! Join us on Friday, October 7, 2022, from 7:00-9:00 pm for 
"Una Noche de Pasion ~ A Night of Passion!"  This is the perfect evening for those intrigued by this elegant and sensuous dance as well as for anyone seeking a truly one-of-a-kind experience.

What We'll Do:

First, we will enjoy a complimentary selection of Argentine wines and light appetizers while listening to Tango music and learning about the origins of this passionate dance. Then you will experience a Tango show by both professional Tango dancers and students of the school to highlight the drama of tango at a performance level. After the show, you will be treated to a special "Taste of Tango" introductory class with the dancers, who will show you a few simple steps to get you started on the dance floor. Finally, you'll finish the evening with a delicious dessert. Join us for a wonderful evening and experience the passion of Argentine Tango!

The cost is $30 per person in advance, $40 at the door. We are limiting the evening to 40 people (and it will sell out!), so please sign up now (click on the image below) to reserve your space at this special event. 

Please note that no one will be admitted during the show (7:30-8:20 pm), so make sure you arrive before 7:30 pm! 

All events held at Tango by the River, 128 J Street in Old Sacramento.

About Your Hosts:

Eduardo Saucedo, Master Teacher and Dancer of Argentine Tango, Choreographer, Producer and International Judge for the Tango World Cup. Eduardo is the creator, director, co-choreographer and co-producer of the dinner show - "Tango Cafe - Una Noche Ideal" presented with much success for three seasons in the historical La Confiteria Ideal in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Eduardo also choreographed and co-produced the Tango Show "Passion & Joy" in 2012 and "Tango-Fusion d'Amor" in 2013 in association with Tango by the River in Sacramento, CA. From 2014-2017 Eduardo was the MC and Lead Performer in the Yearly Seattle Argentine Tango Showcase in association with Michelle Badion. Eduardo was invited to appear in the National Geographic Documentary Series "Consequencias" 2010 and to participate in the European Documentary "My First Tango" released in 2014. 

​Internationally recognized for his love and passion of the dance, Eduardo travels the world sharing his culture and knowledge of the dance, bringing his message of Love, Passion, Joy, Life with Respect and Freedom for Peace in the World. His teaching blends reason, logic, emotions and personality to create a pure and authentic tango embrace. The essence of Buenos Aires can be felt in his dancing and teaching.

​Donna Tielsch is the studio owner and main instructor at Tango by the River. Argentine Tango has been her passion for the past 20 years, during which time she has danced, taught, and performed Tango all across the United States, in Europe, and in Buenos Aires, Argentina. She is the first-ever American to be admitted to the "Cuadro de Amigos" in Academia Nacional del Tango (the National Academy of Tango) in Buenos Aires. She has taught over 3,000 classes, hosted over 2,800 milongas and practicas, produced 7 sold-out tango shows, led 6 tango tours to Buenos Aires, hosted 2 tango festivals (Lake Tahoe Tango Festival) and still possesses 1 burning love of tango!
