About Tango by the River
Tango by the River, Inc. (EIN 85-1192696) is a not-for-profit charitable organization that relies on the financial support of individuals, corporations, and foundations to achieve its mission to promote the artistry and culture of Argentine Tango.

Tango by the River originally opened at 128 J Street on April 7, 2000, under the parent company Visions of Eden, LLC. On May 13, 2020, we filed our articles of incorporation and became a non-profit. We very much appreciate Visions of Eden for its years of financial support, and we encourage all of our donors, sponsors, and students to shop Visions of Eden, both in person at 126 J Street in Old Sacramento, or online at visionseden.com.

Changing Lives through Tango
The founding principles of Tango by the River are based on the belief that Argentine Tango is good for the body, mind, and soul. We believe that Tango is essential to a happy life and successful aging, providing physical exercise, social interaction, spirituality and mindfulness, emotional health, and intellectual stimulation. Tango is LIFE.
