Celebrate All Saints’ Day with an afternoon immersed in the timeless beauty and tradition of Argentine tango! Join us at Tango by the River on Sunday, November 1, for a special workshop with the wonderful Maxi Copello & Karu Terenzio. In the spirit of honoring traditions that live on through generations, we’ll explore Secuencias de la Guardia Vieja — sequences inspired by the Old Guard of tango.
Discover the elegance, character, and musicality of tango’s early masters as Maxi and Karu share classic movement patterns and ideas for incorporating these traditional sequences into your own dance. Refine your technique, deepen your connection with your partner, and bring the rich heritage of tango to life on the dance floor.
After the workshop, stay for a relaxed práctica with light food, where you can practice what you’ve learned, dance with friends, and enjoy the warmth of our tango community.
