It's Island Time at Tango by the River!
Escape to the tropics for an evening where the rhythms of Argentine tango meet the laid-back vibes of paradise. Join us for our Tropical Nights Milonga with festive island décor -- it will be an evening of great music, dancing, and aloha spirit!
 
Feel free to dress for the occasion in your favorite island attire—Hawaiian shirts, tropical prints, sundresses, leis, or anything that says "vacation mode." (Of course, tango shoes are still highly recommended!)
 
Saturday, August 22 with DJ Donna playing traditional tango music with island music cortinas from 8:00 pm to midnight (with nuevo and alternative music in the last hour).
 
Whether you're a seasoned tanguero or joining us for the first time, grab your dance shoes, embrace your inner islander, and let the warm tropical atmosphere transport you to paradise—no passport required! Light refreshments are provided. You are welcome to bring your favorite beverage. Cost is $10.
